Body and Chassis System

Chassis Assembly: The vehicle’s overall framework that supports all components, available in cargo, passenger, and specialized engineering configurations; commonly fabricated from welded thick-wall steel tubing.
Carriage/body: flatbed, guardrail-equipped, and dump types; materials include steel plate, stainless steel, and aluminum alloy; equipped with hinges, locks, and latches.
Mudguards, vehicle body panels/headrests, seats, and rearview mirrors: exterior and driving components; the wider field of view provided by the rearview mirrors makes them well-suited for transportation.

Power and Transmission System

Electric tricycle
Motor: Hub motor/differential motor (48V/60V/72V), which determines power and hill-climbing capability; supplied with matching motor shaft, bearings, and end covers.
Batteries and Chargers: Lead-acid or lithium battery packs; smart chargers must match the voltage and battery type to prevent damage.
Controller: brushless or brushed, capable of controlling motor speed, forward and reverse rotation, and overcurrent protection; the wiring harness assembly is responsible for connecting the vehicle’s entire electrical system.
Rear axle and differential: includes half shafts, transmission, and drum/disc brake assemblies; heavy-duty vehicles must be equipped with a reinforced rear axle.

Gasoline/Diesel Tricycles

Engine Assembly: Single-cylinder gasoline/diesel engine; components include the cylinder block, pistons, crankshaft, valves, and carburetor/electronic fuel injection system.
Clutch, gearbox, and driveshaft: responsible for power transmission and gear shifting; the reverse gear is a commonly used component on cargo tricycles.

Braking and Suspension Systems
Braking System: Drum brakes (low cost) / Disc brakes (responsive braking); components include brake pads/shoes, brake rotors/discs, brake master cylinders (hydraulic braking), brake cables, and parking/foot-brake assemblies.
Suspension and Shock Absorption: The front fork features hydraulic shock absorption, while the rear is equipped with leaf springs or hydraulic shock absorbers, ensuring optimal performance under heavy loads and rough road conditions and enhancing ride stability.

Steering and Travel System

Steering components: steering gear, steering column, tie rods, and steering knuckles; commercial vehicles are typically equipped with power-assisted steering systems.
Wheels and Tires: Steel rims/aluminum alloy wheels; tires are available as tubeless (for household use) or wire-belted/solid tires (specifically for freight and construction sites, offering excellent wear resistance and puncture protection).

Electrical and Lighting Systems

Instruments and Switches: LCD/mechanical gauges (displaying battery level, speed, and mileage); key-operated door lock, lighting switch, and turn signal switch.
Lighting and Signals: LED headlights, turn signals, brake lights, and tail lights; horn and reverse buzzer.
Auxiliary equipment: windshield wipers (for enclosed vehicles), heating system, USB charging port.
